ALLERGIES / SINUS / ASTHMA- A Personal Story by April Travis

I got this story from April's website (http://www.younglivingessentialoils.org/) I hope it helps all that suffer from allergies, sinus problems or allergies.

ALLERGIES / SINUS / ASTHMA
My Personal Story~ April Travis

I used to have all kinds of allergies and asthma and was on everything from Seldane, Sudafed, steroid inhalers that caused heart palpitations, dry eyes and mouth and even on a breathing machine (nebulizer) at one point. Now, with the help of these oils, my allergies are almost non-existent and I am continuing to work on it.

If you have never heard of Essential Oils here is a short explanation of what they are. Essential oils are the volatile liquids that are distilled from various parts of plants, including seeds, bark, leaves, stems, roots, flowers and fruit. They are highly concentrated and far more potent than dried herbs.

The essential oils of the plant and the human blood share several common properties: They fight infection, contain hormone-like compounds, and initiate regeneration. Working as the chemical defense mechanism of the plant, essential oils possess potent antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. The molecules of essential oils are also relatively small, giving them the ability to easily penetrate the cells. When topically applied to the feet or elsewhere, essential oils can travel throughout the body in a matter of minutes.

Young Living is the firmly established leader in the Essential Oils Industry. It is the only company of it's kind that grows from seed, harvests in greenhouses, distills and packages to make sure that there are no pesticides or chemicals of any kind in the product so you are getting Grade A Pure Organic Essential Oils. If you look at other oils in health food stores, they are only perfume quality and not Therapeutic (medicine)...Tip: They must be Afnor / Iso approved oils)

Here's what I did: (NOTE: THIS HAS SAVED ME THOUSANDS OF $$ ON ALLERGY MEDICATIONS, ALLERGY SHOTS & IN THE PAST, MISSED TIME FROM WORK. NEEDLESS TO SAY, NO MORE SIDE EFFECTS FROM THOSE HORRIBLE DRUGS AND OVER THE COUNTER MEDS!)

Got a Young Living diffuser and diffused "Purification Oil" into a room with the door closed for 20 minutes a day while you are relaxing in the room. This is for the chronic cough. Any molds and allergy causing bacteria in the air cannot live in the presence of this oil.

Got "R. C." Oil and put 2-3 drops in my hands. Rub them together, cup over nose and inhale 3 times deep. Also put 2 drops on chest and throat. This is a blend of (4) different kinds of eucalyptus and other oils. This is incredible for breaking up mucus, in the head, the lungs and anywhere else it builds up. This is the one that stops me from wheezing and coughing and lets me breathe so much better.

You can also get "Peppermint". If you ever get stopped up and can't breathe thru your nose, you'll love this one. My husband puts 1 drop on his tongue and in then inhales it in. Then with the oil still on his fingers he rubs a little on the end of his nostrils and inhales again. He can breathe in 1 second after putting it on.

One more oil you should know about is "Lavender". Not only is it called Natures antihistamine, but it great for depression. It lifts me up in 3 seconds...When my nose won't stop dripping, it drys me up right away.

Something I really realized while yesterday driving home. I was able to roll my windows down while on the road and smell the wonderful smell of fresh cut grass. Something I was never able to do all my life with allergies. If I did this in the past, I'd sneeze probably 20 times in a row and then be a wreck for several hours.

Since using Young Living Products: cleansing, oiling, supplementing and eating a good diet over the last 4 years, something worked! I can honestly say I AM ALLERGY FREE...and in Texas, where there are trees, molds, dust, grasses, hay, etc.!!! I would have never believed it!

I try to eat as healthy as I can - no sugar, no white flour, no dairy, organic vegetables, hormone free chicken, little meat, no coffee or pop, no white bread, no processed foods, and also no chemicals in the household products or personal care products. I believe this has all helped.

Recently, 5/2002, Ive begun ingesting Eucalyptus Radiata and R. C. blend before bed and for the first time in my life, I am able to sleep with a cat on my bed and still breathe well; no wheezing or sneezing. WHAT A MIRACLE!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought Id never be able to have furry pets.

At this point in time, my Young Living monthly check pays for all of both Marks and my products, and we use everything from toothpaste to the RainSpa Shower head. We are saving $$$ on our grocery bills and medical bills by substituting healthy from Young Living for chemical laden items found at the grocery store; and it gets delivered to our door. What a wonderful blessing this has been for us!

UPDATE, 2/2003: We have now added a puppy to our family.

Since all allergies happen because of poor digestion and a weak immune system, I started by working on those body systems. Products I use for allergies, sinus & asthma:

Internally:
Cleansing Trio Kit
Vitagreen supplement
Sulfurzyme Powder (a must have) NOTE: Also available in capsule form.

Externally:
R.C. Oil Blend
Purification Oil Blend
Peppermint Oil
Lavender Oil
Diffuser

How to Avoid Being Laid off, be a person of Excellence!

Notes taken from a Joel Osteen Sermon:

Col 3:23 Whatever you do, do it with all your heart, as unto the Lord.

Honor God. When you look good, He looks good.

What ever we do, we should do it with our whole heart, no half way. Do it to the best of your ability. Do it with excellence.

You have an incredible advantage when you work for God. He's the one that brings promotion. He's the one that brings one up and another down. Keep being your best in spite of who's trying to pull you down. When you have this spirit of excellence, you go the extra mile; knowing that the quality of your work is the reflection of the quality of your character.

Excellence shouldn't be something that we do once in awhile as long as someone is watching. Excellence should be our standard. Excellence is doing the right thing even when no one can see you. Even when you do not think it's necessary. Even when you don't agree. You have given your word, so you're going to live up to it.

Getting to work on time, not making personal calls on company time. Not complaining when your supervisor asks you to do something.
You might say "It's just a small thing, no body would know". The scriptures says in Song of Solomon 2:15 "it is the little foxes that spoil the vines."

You don't want something small to keep you from God releasing something big. To keep you from everything God has created you to be.

Make the decision today that you will work with excellence. Not only does it honor God, but it's one of the best witnesses you can have.

Matt 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

What ever you do, get better at it. Be productive in sharping your skills. don't be complaisant; keep improving.

An article that was published recently listed three major reasons for people that were not laid off and how they avoided it:

1. Having a positive attitude
2. Being versatile
3. Always improving their skills

When you are a person of excellence you always do more then expected.

Go the extra mile.
Matt 5:41 When someone asks you to walk a mile with them, walk two.
Back in Roman times, a Roman Soldier was allowed by law to ask someone to carry their armor for them one mile. Then after the mile they would have to ask someone else to carry it the next mile.
Jesus is saying to go the extra mile in what ever you do, at your job; in your business, in your home, in your church; what ever you are doing.

Working with excellence you will be indeed blessed with more Wealth and Riches in your own life.

Our Son is going to Iraq

400 Days...that's how long Ben is going to be gone.

Today Mae and I took him to Belmont, Maryland to meet up with other Army Reserve troops who all will be going to Iraq.
I have dreaded this day, and somehow wished that it was not going to happen, but today is the day he goes.
He thought he had to be there at 7:00AM but as we were driving up he found out he did not have to meet until 1:00PM,
so that gave us time to eat a nice breakfast at Ihop and then take a nice needed tap parked under some large shade trees.
I was out and snored so loud I kept waking myself up. We all needed that little nap to relieve some of the stress we were
feeling plus having to get up so early which is not our norm.
Mae and I let Ben sleep a little more and we took at walk to the Five Below store and bought a kite. I always wanted to fly a kite
with Mae, so when time and weather permit we will do that.
Then we went back to the car and went to a store called Dicks that has outdoor things. I found on sale a badminton set which Mae and Peachy enjoy playing. I haven't played since I was a teen, but it should be fun.
Then we went next door to an upper class furniture store. There was this large wooden chair there that had lions carved into the arm rests and the
backrest of the chair was about 8 feet high. Sitting in it for sure made me feel like a King. They had beautiful chandeliers and other furniture that we
enjoyed looking at along with a very beautiful pool table with a red felt top.

To pass more time we stopped at a repo house and peeked inside the windows and then went and waited for the group to gather to van out to Virgina
where they will be for 10 days before going to California to train some and then to Mississippi to train more before going to Iraq.

Mae and I prayed for Ben before he left that God would keep him safe and bring him back whole and safe also and that he would do great things there.

We had a little more time so we made a quick run to Dunkin Donuts and bought a few donuts and Gatorade for Ben.

We went back to the meeting spot, sat around some more, took a few more pictures and then it was time for him to go.
It was so emotional to see my son going off to war.
We hugged and told him we love him. I could not help but cry some, and of course Mae cried some too.
Really hard to see him go, knowing he might be in harms way and away for more then a year also...
I trust in God though that God will keep him and the others safe.
There's a feeling inside of me that I have never felt before living through this. I guess only someone that has been separated from their child would know what I'm
talking about...

God bless you my boy, my young man. I love you so much.

Helping Single Mothers & their Children in the Philippines

Here are some of the plans I have in helping single mothers & their children in the Philippines:

1. Invite as many Filipina/Filipino's that I possibly can to build a LARGE Zenzuu income that will create a LARGE income for everyone that builds. (That means YOU too).

2. For single mom's in the Philippines that do not have internet access I have plans on helping them financially also in:

A. Creating a large perpetual trust fund that will continue accumulating interest and income long after I have gone home to be with the Lord.

B. Short term help for basic needs such as Shelter, Food, and Clothing.

C. Providing a long term plan for single moms to create their own income streams from self employment.

D. Providing single mothers a free way to meet available men throughout the world at http://www.jeepneyland.com

E. Helping the children of single mothers with education and a plan on becoming self sufficient when they reach adulthood.

F. Buy some houses for homeless single moms and have some land on it so they can grow their own veggies and coconut trees and eat and sell them to help provide for their shelter there and afford me to buy other houses there. Also provide a computer and Internet access so they build a large income online through Zenzuu.

G. Open a Internet Cafe with 40 computers. Anyone can use one for FREE if they want to use it to build their Zenzuu business online. Also provide Basic Computer and Internet Lessons for FREE on certain days to anyone that wants to be a part of the class and commits to teaching the class in exchange for learning the lessons for free. Rental use of the computers can help pay for the overhead.

H. Load up a large truck full of rice and sell large bags of it for 1/2 price and do a give a way promotion to provide free rice for a whole year to some families.

I. Buy a Jeepney and Zenzuu it inside and out to promote Zenzuu and use the profits to buy other forms of advertising of Zenzuu and other income opportunites.

All of these things and MORE can be done if YOU and I work together here to build a large team of people. Invite everyone you can. Put ZenZuu on every profile you have online. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, let's take advantage of it and see lives changed for the better!!

Dexter

Current Update: Zenzuu is in the process of updating their site which could take several months.
Until they do, I am not actively promoting ZenZuu.

I still have plans on using my other online income to do all of the above!
