Discover these Jewels and live forever!

Have you ever gone Treasure Hunting? How about to Yard Sales?
It's it great when you are looking all over and you see all kinds of stuff that you
at use at the time, and then suddenly you see that very thing you've been looking for for so long.

My mom had that happen to her many years ago. We were driving around on the weekend as usual hitting up all the local Yard Sales. It's so fun seeing all the interesting things that people have for sale. Sometimes you even run across something you have no idea what it is. Well, one of the habits my mom developed is when she met someone having a sale that was elderly, she would ask "Do you have any jewelry you would like to sell?" More times than oft. they would say "No I don't think I do" but this one day the answer was different.
She said "Yeah, you know I've been meaning to sell some jewelry I have." She went into the house and came out of the house with something wrapped in a white tissue.
She handed it to my mom, and my mom slowly opened it to reveal a old pocket watch that was real gold and had jewels in the works also. It was beautiful. My mom asked
"Do you really want to see this?" and the lady said "yes I do." My mom asked how much she wants for the watch and the lady answered "One Hundred Dollars." My mom looked it over some more and offered the lady Sixty instead. (You learn how to haggle at yard sales). The lady happily took the Sixty Dollars and we walked away with a treasure worth back then $400. Today, I still posses that very same gold pocket watch and value it not only for what it is, but the memory of my mom who has since passed away many years ago.

It's much like that with learning about life also. There are clues and jewels to be found that once found, you'll keep with you for the rest of your life because they are so valuable and useful.

The Holy Bible that is thousands of years old contains many such jewels. Today's Christian's tend to glaze right over them, because many of these jewels are found in the Old Testament. Since we have the New Testament, many people disregard the advice found there in. Since God is the author of both the Old and the New Testament, what He has to say is equally important. Makes sense right? What I'm trying to say is the New Testament does not make invalid the Old Testament.

Ah but on to these jewels. Where are they to be found?

Let us examine one of many. Genesis 9:2-4 (New International Version)

2 The fear and dread of you will fall upon all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air, upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands. 3 Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.

4 "But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.

So, we learn quite a few things with these passages of God's instruction to Adam and Eve.

First we learn that before the fall, God designed it for them to eat plants and fruits. It was their "meat". After the fall, God told them that now the animals were to be food for them also.

We then learn that even though God has given them animals to eat, the lifeblood of the animals was not to be eaten. This is an important point that we are not to ignore. So in other words, we are not to eat meat raw like an animal, nor to have it bloody.

So from these scriptures we learn that plants and fruits were in God's original design for us to eat. Therefore it should be our #1 choice to eat also. I'm not advocating being a vegan (unless you so choose) but our main foods to live a healthy life should be vegetables and fruits.

We also learn that when we do eat meat, it's not to be bloody.

These are MANY MORE jewels are to be found in the ancient scriptures. Jewels we can use to live a totally healthy life both spiritually and physically.

I will touch on more of these in future blogs.

I also am writing an e-book about these treasures. Let me know if you have an interest.

Wishing you more Wealth and Riches in every area of your life!

What will you do without your pills?

What will you do without your pills?

In today's modern lifestyle have you ever stopped and asked yourself "What did people do before there were pills?"

Have you ever watched one of those pharmacy commercials on Television that tell you about the latest and greatest pill? A pill for breathing easier, a pill for anxiety, a pill for erection dysfunction. On and on. GREAT, right? Wrong. Because towards the end of those miracle drug pills is the disclaimers of some of the many things that your body could react to in taking these pills. All the way from Diarrhea to death and everything in-between.

As one stand up comedy show I watched said. "My cousin Lewie has the hook up on different drugs taken from his Doctor. He gave him a purple pill which causes a very hard erection. Well, the man needed this and took it from his cousin. Went home and right before sex, he took the pill. Sure enough it worked. It was great! No problem getting it up at all. As he was going at it with his wife, his stomach started feeling a little funny. Then it started cramping, then suddenly diarrhea hit, uncontrollable diarrhea! Yeah...right there in the middle of the act!, what a mess! He didn't read the side effect on the bottle that said "might cause severe diarrhea. See your Doctor if this happens."

Funny! But not so funny if you have to choose between the two. Not funny with other severe effects on the body. Helping one thing while causing another problem else where.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not against medicine or Doctors. What I am against is when we take a medication that can cause other health issues when there are natural alternatives that cause ZERO side effects.
What I am against is vaccinations that have not been proven effective or safe when we could be building up our God given immune system in a natural way.

Long before there were pills there were herbs, essential oils, and prayer.
Today's modern World has almost lost these natural wonders in bringing relief.
See I can't even use the word "healing" because the FDA would come down on me and others card if we said "This Herb or oil can heal you". What ever happened to freedom of the press and speech in the USA anyhow?

How is it that cigarettes are approved by the FDA when they are proven to contain known chemicals that can cause cancer but a person that knows of a natural substance that can help a person can't say "cure"? I think it has to be all about the $$$.

The next time something comes up in your life, find out instead what Essential oils and herbs can do for you instead. Educate yourself, because the FDA will not.

Wishing you more Wealth and Riches in every area of your life!

The Power of Choice

Recently I had a friend tell me "He's stuck in a job."
Also online I had someone tell me just today that they have no choice but was born into the way his lifestyle is, which happened to be the homosexual lifestyle.

Basically both people are telling me the same thing which is "they have no choice."

All I can say is "Cow Patties!" Animals do not have choices. They have instincts, but not choices. We humans were the one's blessed to have choice.
We can choose to work for someone, or choose to own our own business.
We can choose what lifestyle we want also. Even the poorest people in the world have a choice to overcome their surroundings and free themselves from poverty.

Each one of us no matter where we live in the world can make choices to become what we choose to become. I did not say it would always be easy, only that you can.

So, if you're not happy with your life, choose to change it, but first choosing to change the inside of you.

Myself, I'm a work in progress as everyone really is if you think about it.
I chose not to live on the West Coast and moved to the East Coast knowing only my son and my sons mother being where I am now. No job lined up, no place to live, and no contacts to help me. I DECIDED by FAITH to change my whole surroundings from living in Sunny CA where it only snows in the Mountains and High Desert, to living where it snows every winter. Was it easy? Sometimes, not at all. Other times much easier than I had thought. I made it through the change and am now on the track to prospering.

Habits are hard to break and can only be broken by replacing them with other habits (good ones is a good choice). It takes time and effort, but well worth it when you do choose the right ways to live.

I have studied Self Help books and the Bible since my early 20's. Both the books and my faith in God have helped me overcome some circumstances that many would of given up on and said "what's the use, I was born into this, why try to be different?"

Let me encourage you today, you can choose who you want to be. Why not start on the trek today?

Wishing you more Wealth and Riches in every area of your life.

You are a child of God

"You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightening about shrinking, so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in come of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others"

Healthy to the Glory of God

Article by: Mirdza Pavasars Hayden

When we follow a healthy lifestyle to the glory of God, He gives us victory over our health issues. So many times we get caught up in simply praying for good health, praying for miraculous healing, and meanwhile we do not glorify God in the way we treat our body. We don’t eat the foods He has given us to eat, but rather indulge in processed, high sugar foods. We don’t drink the pure water He has provided for us, but rather drink sodas with high sugar content or artificial sweeteners, or in fruit juices that really are not that healthy for us. Instead of keeping our bodies active, like God designed them to be, we have become wrapped up in how tired we are and how we just can’t commit to any physical activity, let alone any fitness program that requires any type of effort. Add to that stress and little rest and sleep, and we will live a life that is sure to be headed towards sickness. When we lead this type of lifestyle, how can we expect God to bless us with good health?

God has given each of us a mission to fulfill in the world, but it’s hard to fulfill if we don’t take care of the bodies that He has given us. Think of all the wonderful foods He has provided for us to eat, which the Bible makes reference to throughout the Bible. In Genesis 1:29, God tells us, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.” Then in Genesis 3:18 He says, “You will eat the plants of the field”. In Ezekiel 16:19 He tells us “Also the food I provided for you – the fine flour, olive oil, and honey I gave you to eat”. In Matthew 15:36, Jesus took 7 loaves of barley and two small fish and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples, who in turn gave it to the people to eat. God also gave us animals to eat, though; in Deuteronomy 14:4-5 God tell us “These are the animals you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat, the deer, the gazelle, the roe deer, the wild goat, the ibex, the antelope and the mountain sheep.” All the foods God gives us are nutritional goldmines, as Jordan Rubin puts it, and therefore build up healthy cells in our body. He says in his book The Great Physician’s Rx for Health and Wellness that “God’s dietary guidelines contained no refined or processed carbohydrates, no altered or damaged fats, and no artificial sweeteners. When our diet is based on eating whole and natural foods everyday, we’ll be nourished and satisfied, and we will be energetic and healthy to do all the things we need to do and those we want to do.”

In addition to eating healthy, he gave us bodies that were designed to move. As Jordan Rubin puts it in the book I’ve mentioned before, “God designed us to lift, haul, stride, step, boost, drag, march, tread, run, kick and heave with our limbs. There’s a reason why the word move is so close to mobile in the dictionary. God made us to me mobile people, and throughout history, people have walked miles and miles and performed manual labor in the fields and in the cities.” Heck, even Mary and Joseph walked for 80 miles to get from Nazareth to Bethlehem, when Mary was nine months pregnant!! Mary probably rode most of the way on the donkey, but Joseph walked the entire way, with a whole bunch of other people. There were no cars or buses at the time. This was a 4-day journey, if the person walked 20 miles a day. Think about it. Now we have all the conveniences and unfortunately most people do not even walk to the store if it’s a half a mile or a mile away. It’s time to start walking or biking again, instead of taking the car everywhere we go. Not only is it better for us physically, but it is better for the environment since cars pollute the air.

God has designed us to be active healthy individuals. Let’s focus on getting healthy by eating the foods he has provided for us and by getting active every single day. God will bless our healthy lifestyle by strengthening us and energizing us to fulfill His mission in this world.

As a Man Thinks in His Heart, so is He!

As a Man Thinks in His Heart, so is He. - Proverbs 23:7

This is a powerful truth that you can use for your advantage. How?

You must become aware of your own thoughts on a daily bases. In doing so you will be able to form who you really want to become.

You see, it all starts in the mind. What ever you think about is who you become.

1. Feed your mind good healthy things.

Just like your body needs good healthy food to stay healthy, your mind is no different.
If you are feeding your mind things that are uplifting, good, inspiring, educational facts, then you are way ahead of the game.

2. Watch the "I Am's". When you make a mistake do you say "I am so stupid!"
Self talk is extremely important. You want to keep it positive to keep feeding your subconscious good things about yourself.

3. Be careful what goes into your gateways.
What are your gateways? Things that enter into you. Your ears, your eyes, your nose, your mouth.

Ears: Are you allowing people to fill your ears with poop? Tell those people that God did not make your ears trash cans. People love to complain and gossip. Don't be a part of it, and don't listen to it.

Eyes: What are you watching on TV? What type of books and magazines are you allowing into your eye gate?

Nose: Scents are remembered by the brain faster than audio or visual. Use Aromatherapy to attract health and wealth into your life.

Mouth: What are you feeding your body and mind? A healthy body will help your mind work to it's peak performance.

How do you get rid of a bad thought? Our minds are quick to think the worst at times. What do we do about this and how?

You first have to notice you are thinking something that is not beneficial to you.
You then replace that thought with a better thought. You cannot simply just stop thinking about something. You must replace it! It works well, try it.

Think about what you want, not what you don't want.

If you are thinking about lack and need, you'll get more of it. Instead think of what you desire instead, and hold it in your mind as if you already have it. The longer you can hold it in your mind and the more often you can; the faster it will come about. Jesus taught this in the Bible: When you pray, believe as if you have already received it.
